Plumbing & Gas Code Books
Plumbing licensing splits along a line most other trades do not have: some states examine on the International Plumbing Code, others on the Uniform Plumbing Code, and the two are genuinely different documents. Buying the wrong family is a more expensive mistake than buying the wrong year.
Both are here, in current editions, along with the fuel gas codes that come with them — the IFGC and NFPA 54 — because most plumbing licences test gas work as well.
Exam kits
Where a state publishes a reference list covering several books, we assemble it as a kit — including a Texas journeyman and master plumber set tabbed before it ships.
If you are not certain whether your board uses the IPC or the UPC, ask us before ordering. It takes a minute to check and saves a few hundred dollars.
