Who we are
TradesmanPrep supplies official code books and exam study material to tradesmen across the United States.
We carry the current published editions for electrical, plumbing and HVAC work, in English and in Spanish, and we prepare them so they are ready to use the day they arrive.
What we sell
Official code books and study material for the trades — electrical, plumbing and HVAC — in English and in Spanish.
Every book is a real published edition, the same one your exam is written from. The Spanish editions are the official translations, not summaries or study notes.

Who it is for
Tradesmen working toward the next licence, and the contractors keeping a crew current.
Apprentices testing up
Sitting for your journeyman card. You need the right edition and a book you can actually navigate when it counts.
Journeymen going for master
The next licence changes what you're allowed to do, what you can charge, and whether you can run your own work.
Contractors keeping crews current
Code cycles move. Outfitting a crew with current editions keeps everyone on the same page on the jobsite.
What we do for you
We tab books by hand before they ship. Tabs on every major article, so you can find what you need under pressure instead of working the index.
Browse the books we keep tabbed and ready, or ask for any book in the store to be tabbed before it goes out. Because it is done by hand, allow up to a week for a tabbed order to be prepared and shipped.

Why we do this
A licence changes what you are allowed to do, what you can charge, and whether you can run your own work.
Language should not be what stops a tradesman from getting there, and neither should a book you cannot navigate under pressure. Those are the two things this store exists to fix.
Every book we sell is an official published edition. TradesmanPrep is not affiliated with the NFPA, the ICC, or IAPMO.
